You should probably jump on board with Small Business Saturday because in this case, being a band wagoner is a good thing.
What started as an American Express campaign grew into a national holiday. Say WHAT? Yep, you heard us right. Small Business Saturday was started by American Express on November 27, 2010. In 2011, it became a national holiday and was recognized by President Obama and the U.S. Senate. You could say it’s kind of a big deal.
Can we just go ahead and say it? BizX knows how to throw a party, and the 550 that came last night can attest to that. It’s a good thing we have a year to think about how we can out-do ourselves for next year’s holiday party.
Take a moment, re-live the wonderment and take in the brilliance that is the BizX community in all its splendor. When that many entrepreneurs, business owners and all around incredible people get together, magic is sure to happen. There were literally too many amazing, awesome, wild things last night to mention them all. But I’m going to try anyways, so here goes.

Getting your web project off the ground can feel like the haphazard toss of a twelve-sided die—you’re probably surrounded by nerds, are up way past your bedtime, and have a lot less fun than you should. The wrong roll for your organization can end up costing a lot of money, time, and ultimately hurt your brand.
Before you begin your hunt for a web partner, it’s helpful to know yourself, know your goals, and know how much money you can spend on the project. The more you can guide the early conversations, the better you can set the agenda and get the website you want, and maybe even the one you need.
Are you frustrated with your progress at the club? Do you work out every day, and yet don't see any results? Are you bored with our current routine? You may have landed on a fitness plateau. We've all been there - be it at the gym, trying to lose weight or even learning a new skill. At first you make a ton of progress. Things are going great, and you're feeling good. You're losing weight consistently, adding more weight to that barbell or running further/faster than you ever have. Then, you hit a point and everything seems to pause, or go backward even though you may be doing "all of the right things".
