Every year, the Seattle Sports Commission (SSC) orchestrates an extraordinary evening dedicated to recognizing and honoring a diverse range of athletes from various sports. The Sports Star of the Year Awards is a glamorous affair, and Bizx was elated to be involved.

Nonprofits and community organizations have a unique opportunity to amplify their fundraising efforts through the power of BizX. 

The Rivkin Center has been a member of BizX since 2011. Since then, they have received over $450,000 in sponsorship sales and donations from other BizX members.  

As computing went from room-sized machines to being ubiquitous in every office and many households, and then from the Y2K bug panic to our modern day pocket computers, NuOz has been there to keep its clients connected, managed, and—most importantly—protected with its expansive IT services. With a focus on small to medium sized business and enterprises (but also working with local behemoths Costco and Nordstrom), NuOz (and their subsidiary Revonix) was a natural fit when it joined BizX’s community in 2006.

Building connections, making strong first impressions, and putting you and your company “out there” are obviously key drivers to sales success. So, it is not the least bit surprising that when Al Moscatel and Bob Bagga met in the same room over a decade ago, it began a long-standing relationship between two gregarious business owners. When discussing how he first heard of BizX, his one word answer of – “BOB” – can be echoed by many business owners in similar situations. As many have said in this space before, Moscatel, who along with his family members own and manage Urban Interiors of Bellevue as well as the 13 Coins Restaurants, was curious about how so many others were unlocking ways to create better cashflow and new partnerships by implementing a barter business model.

Now imagine organizing a movie night over 10 straight days with 15,000 friends at screens throughout the 8^th largest city in America?! This is where one may look at their budget strategy and cash flow and need to get creative.
