LinkedIn is out there trying to help freelancers and small business owners get noticed in the ever growing, and often over-populated business landscape. Read up on how this new tool will help you stand out in the crowd.

The popular career networking site LinkedIn recently announced a new feature that will enable users to sort searches by service providers who have opted as "open for business". Which will be incredible game-changing for the 10 million small-business leaders who use LinkedIn to reach out to clients.

Here's what LinkedIn had to say about their new service -

"From now on, members looking for help will be able to filter their general LinkedIn searches for service providers. When you add services to your profile, you'll show up in these search results. For example, if you've noted that you provide accounting services, and a member searches for "accountant," they'll now be able to see you in their search results with a highlight about the services you provide. From there, we encourage members to message you directly to inquire about your services."

The new product is expected to drop in the fall, so be on the look out for another powerful way to attract new customers!
