Urban Float was featured on Shark Tank
Urban Float CEO Scott Swerland and COO Joe Beaudry went fishing for some Sharks back in March when they appeared on an episode of ABC’s “Shark Tank” to try and expand their growing business.
Urban Float’s customers float in pods filled with purified water and 1,200 pounds of Epsom salt that’s heated to match the temperature of the human body’s skin…It becomes difficult to tell where your body ends and the water begins,” said Gabe Goldberg, Urban Float's company’s chief marketing officer.
Urban Float was started six years ago Scott Swerland and Joe Beaudry. Since then, they’ve grown to four corporate locations, two in Seattle, one in Kirkland and one in Renton. Franchised locations have started popping up as well with locations in Tacoma and Vancouver, Washington, along with several out-of-state locations.

Wipliance Named Integrator of the Year
Wipliance was awarded the "Integrator of the Year" Award at CES 2019 earlier this year. This prestigious award recognizes Wipliance as the nation's best in custom home technology installation services.
The company got its start back in 2006 and joined BizX shortly thereafter. Since then they have grown into the industry powerhouse that you see today. Their headquarters is located in Bellevue, WA, with operations in Scottsdale, AZ as well. Wipliance focuses on providing turnkey solutions for automation, audio video, lighting control, window treatments and security.

Martinson Painting - Top Job Award
BizX member, Martinson Painting won American Painting Contractor Magazine's Top Job Award for their ability to meet timelines, work safely, use creativity and restore homes to their original beauty.
In this case, they won for their work on a 6,110-square foot home that had been built in 2006. It was a beautiful home when Martinson Painting took the job, but it looked brand new once they were done.
