So go out and spend your BiZX dollars during December in support of the BizX community's many charities and non-profts! At BizX, we are a purpose-driven organization. Above all else, our purpose is to improve the lives and businesses of our members, and, in doing so, enrich our local communities.  Central to living [our purpose](https://www.bizx.com/about/) is our ability to give back, and to act as a catalyst for our members to do the same. So–in the spirit of the holiday season, we are kicking off our second annual Giving December event! Last year we raised over 50k from our Giving December campaign–we're looking to beat that number this year! Charity makes up a critical part of the BizX community. BizX has raised and contributed over $1 million BizX dollars to more than 40 charities and non-profits engaged in the network, including the [American Red Cross](https://my.bizx.com/Shop/Store/21960/American-Red-Cross), [the Rivkin Center for Ovarian Cancer](https://my.bizx.com/Shop/Store/10643/Marsha-Rivkin-Center-for-Ovarian-Cancer-Research), [Boys & Girls Clubs](https://my.bizx.com/Browse/Search?st=Boys%20and%20Girls%20Club&sid=11&vr=16&vt=g) and [Habitat for Humanity](https://my.bizx.com/Shop/Store/28905/San-Diego-Habitat-for-Humanity). For these groups, BizX plays a vital role as they work to accomplish their purpose. By accepting donations in BizX dollars, these non-profits are able to offset burdensome operational expenses and keep more cash focused on helping those in need. Because every BizX dollar that a business earns represents new sales through the network, BizX members are able to donate their BizX dollars freely without hurting their bottom line. In this way, BizX is an accelerant to the good work done by our charity partners and our for-profit members alike. A true WIN-WIN. BizX is a community of entrepreneurs and business owners supporting each other. Critical to this success is the ability to recognize our blessings and consider those less fortunate than ourselves.
