To deliver on our purpose, to improve the businesses and lives of our members, we are constantly changing and evolving in how we do things, the tools we use and the services we provide.

To improve upon one of these tools and to continue delivering on our promise we have released a new feature that will help all BizX members with their BizX Marketplace experience. Everyone will notice faster and more accurate search results when browsing the Marketplace thanks to our engineering team and the new Algolia search engine that has been implemented.

The new search tool that was implemented will bring relevancy and speed to all of your searches.

Some of the key highlights coming with this release –

• The new release brings auto complete search results and is much more forgiving with typos and spelling errors.
• Most search results will display in a few seconds or less.
• This new system will scale very well with future growth plans.

Search results are already better and more relevant but we will continue to fine tune things so the search function will continue to improve providing better, faster and more accurate results.

Getting a little more technical, Algolia is a hosted, numerical, full-text and faceted search engine capable of bringing faster results with a better ability to handle synonyms, typos and plurals.

This is one small step for BizX, and one giant leap for the BizX Marketplace. This is only one of the many improvements we'll be bringing to the community this year!
