The Seattle Chamber of Commerce knows how to host an epic event. On May 20th, the Seattle Chamber held their annual Business Tradeshow. It was 4-hours of action-packed fun! There were 165+ exhibitors including awesome companies such as Titan360, Improv-Alive, Creative House Branding, Homegrown, Sun Press Printing, Talking Rain and many more!
The Seattle Chamber offered some awesome perks to make this networking event a success. Alabastro Photography, a sponsor of the event, offered free headshots at their booth! All you needed was a pearly smile and you were set. The professional development mini seminar stage offered great business advice covering an array of topics. From learning about putting on a great tradeshow booth to learning about improv to fine tuning one’s marketing skills. This was the place to gain advice for one’s professional growth.
Businesses like Fremont Brewing Company, On Safari Foods, Trophy Cupcakes and more offered delectable treats. While, the Chamber also gave away prizes galore! By participating in the passport game one could win sporting event tickets to hotel stays to airplane tickets.
As a sponsor BizX crafted a networking zone where attendees could gather, mingle and gain valuable business knowledge from other attendees. We had a BizX wheel to give away prizes, an awesome photo booth from uSnaps, and highlighted 18 of our amazing members in our art gallery.
We gave away 100 BizX every hour on the hour!
Throughout the tradeshow we had floor stickers with business advice from our amazing BizX members. Attendees were encouraged to find ‘em and share ‘em on twitter. All they had to do was take a photo of the floor sticker, tweet @bizx, and #tradeshow15. We randomly selected a winner and gave out 100 BizX dollars to the lucky winner.
Being a BizX member has its perks. One benefit this year is that BizX members gained complimentary access into the event. We had 116+ BizX members in attendance. That’s just attendees! BizX members can pay for their booths and Seattle Chamber memberships using their BizX dollars. This year we had 20+ BizX members exhibiting at the tradeshow. That shows you the power of our community. You can basically say it was a BizX invasion.
We set out every day to help take care of businesses
In the spirit of taking care of businesses we invited all exhibitors and attendees to join us at the Parlor Live in Seattle for an exclusive afterparty. After 4-hours of standing on one’s feet everyone deserves a beer or carbonated beverage. BizX wanted to make that happen for exhibitors and attendees alike.We had small bites, beer and wine and a place for relationships to grow. Did we mention there was pool? Because there was also pool! The after party was a great place to mingle on. We had some great conversations with existing members like Project Bionic and the Seattle Chamber. We also got to know other companies such as WorkTank and The Seattle Times. We had a great time getting off our feet, drinking and mingling!

All in all it’s safe to say that this year’s event was another success! We love working side by side with the Seattle Chamber to fight for businesses and business owners a like.
We hope you mingled, tasted some yummy treats, and found new business. Overall, we found the Chamber Tradeshow to be a huge success! We look forward to building relationships with the folks we met.
