Reflecting on our principles, we take a look back at the history of barter to answer the “Why?” the bartering network will sustain even a global pandemic.

A year into the pandemic and here we are in the new normal. We have adjusted, pivoted, downsized and then expanded over the last 12 months. To me, at times it has felt like getting dressed in the dark, with the wrong hand!

When the gravity of the pandemic started to ensconce our day to day in every which way, BizX did not back down to the challenge of rethinking how and what we could to do to keep our business community on stable ground. Change can be hard and we needed to rely on our strong core values to stay the course.

BizX is a company committed to furthering the success of small businesses through genuine connection and mutual support. In March of this year, we, like many of the #BizXBusiness owners in our community, were suddenly faced with tough decisions, and uncertainty of what the future of our business looked like for us, and for you. As the effects of the pandemic continue to dictate the future of many businesses, we cannot help but to wonder “where do we go from here?”
