The 26th annual Swedish SummeRun and Walk for Ovarian Cancer is coming up FAST! Team BizX will be out in force and WE WANT YOU THERE TOO!
Ovarian cancer is the 5th leading cause of cancer-related deaths in women, and the American Cancer Society estimates that more than 20,000 new cases of ovarian cancer will be diagnosed in the United States this year. Though it’s not as prevalent as breast cancer, ovarian cancer is usually not detected until it has reached more advanced stages when it’s often too late to cure.
To combat this terrible disease, the Marsha Rivkin Center for Ovarian Cancer has funded more than $13 million to ovarian cancer research throughout the world, in large part, thanks to the hard work of SummeRun participants!
For the 26th Annual Swedish SummeRun and Walk for Ovarian Cancer, BizX wants to come out swinging! Join us, and the thousands of other volunteers that will be descending on Seattle’s First Hill for the yearly 5k!
When: Sunday, July 14th, Run starts @ 8:15am
Where: Downtown Seattle, the corner of Madison & Minor in Seattle’s First Hill neighborhood
(Day of registration begins at 6:30am at the corner of Marion & Minor)
