The BizX Community Cleaned up at the 2015 Nightlife Awards!

DList’s Seattle Nightlife Awards went off without a hitch! People from all around Seattle came together to celebrate the guardians of the nightlife, those brave few and illustrious establishments that really help make everyone’s weekends (and some weeknights) really pop.

DList had help from Patron Tequila, Stella Artois, Tectonic Audio Labs and Motif Seattle to make the 3^rd annual show the biggest and best yet. This awesome night of celebration and comradery recognized people, performers, and businesses alike from all across the city.

This year’s nominees were submitted by fellow Seattleites, with the most popular of the lot making up the nominees in the 31 different categories. The nominees were then voted on by DList readers to find the best of the best. This year however there was an added twist.

Undercover shoppers went out and graded each of the nominees from the moment of entry to exit, making sure to talk with guests for their added input. Once the votes were tallied, grades factored in, the winners were announced on the evening of June 7^th at Motif.

The BizX community was well represented at the awards, with members taking home 1^st place in 9 different categories. Amber, Maison Tavern, Parlor live, Peso’s, 95 Slide, Foundation Nightclub and Aston Manor all strutted their stuff and took home top prize. Best Lounge – Amber

Amber has been a staple in the Belltown neighborhood for almost a decade. Happy hour starts at 4pm with the dance-parties starting when the clock strikes 10pm. Bring a date or come to meet other singles, Amber is a great place to get your party on.

Best Cocktail Bar – Maison Tavern

Maison Tavern brings back some of the best craft cocktails from years past. Each cocktail is hand crafted from scratch using the best ingredients and care the industry has to offer. It’s easy to see why they were voted the best cocktail bar in Seattle. A must try for the un-initiated.

Best Comedy Club – Parlor Live

The Parlor has started a dynasty with this award, sealing its third victory in a row this year. For good reason too, as it is the place to be on the weekends where top comedians can be found in both Bellevue and downtown Seattle.

Best Neighborhood bar – Peso’s

Peso’s Kitchen and Lounge isn’t just Queen Anne’s neighborhood bar, it’s the neighborhood bar for all of Seattle – yeah, its that good. Everyone may not know your name, but it will quickly become your new favorite spot!

Best Bathrooms – Foundation Nightclub

Obviously a classy place is going to have classy bathrooms. The whole place gives off a very innovative and Vegas-like feel that is sure to make any night a success.

Best VIP Section – Foundation Nightclub

If you’ve got award winning bathrooms, it’s probably not the only award winning thing in the joint. The VIP section of this place is literally second to none. Exceptional service, great location and spacious booths are some of the front running reasons Foundation took this one home.

Best Sports Bar – 95 Slide

The best fans deserve the best sports bars, and that’s exactly what 95 Slide provides. Mariners, Seahawks or Sounders, this is the place to watch your team bring home the win.

Best Looking Staff – Aston Manor

The whole place is good looking, staff included. Attractive people as far as the eye can see here, the hosts, cocktailers and guys behind the bar are all dressed to impress.

Best Place to Celebrate - Aston Manor

If you throw great parties then you’re obviously going to be a game winning choice for private parties. If you need to throw a party, Aston Manor should be your next venue.

It was a great night and an awesome time had by all, with awards going out to both businesses and people in 31 different catagories. Proceeds went to benefit The Pink Gene Foundation, a foundation with a mission to help young women afford the genetic testing needed to uncover hereditary breast cancer.
