Impact Hub's Bellevue Launch Party Précis

November 11, 2015 | Written by Matt Beuschlein

The businesses and entrepreneurs of Bellevue have gained a valuable asset and resource as of last night, signified by the grand opening of Impact Hubs Bellevue location! Thank you for all those that attended and made the event the awesome success that it was!

Businesses from all around the community came together to meet and mingle at Bellevue’s newest co-working space on Wednesday evening. It was a great time and the perfect chance to check out the new space.

The Bellevue Impact Hub offers an inventive atmosphere for entrepreneurs to come together and enjoy co-working spaces, private offices, conference rooms, event venue and innovation lab all rolled into one.

Partnering with the City of Bellevue, The Impact Hub spent nine months ironing out all the stops and getting this new space ready to cultivate startups, ideas and innovation.

Over a hundred people in attendance for last night’s grand opening. Council members Lynn Robinson and John Stokes where there to show their support and talk about the future of this blossoming partnership.

"Working with Impact Hub is part of Bellevue's goal to provide more opportunities for aspiring business owners to engage in innovative projects," said Bellevue Councilmember Lynne Robinson. "By fostering an environment for companies to incubate, we hope more businesses will continue to call the Eastside 'home' as they grow."

Thanks to all those from the Impact Hub Bellevue and Seattle that have worked tirelessly over the last nine months to make the Bellevue space what it is today. Eastside businesses, entrepreneurs and startups will undoubtedly prosper because of the work that has been done and will continue to be done for the cause and the community.

"We are very happy with the response we've seen from the community so far," said Brian Howe, CEO of Impact Hub Seattle. "There was a large unmet demand for this type of space when we arrived. We still have some work to do, but we are looking forward to being a part of Bellevue for the long haul."

BizX was a proud sponsor for the evening’s event, coordinate contributions from a number of BizX members that really made the evening a smashing success.

A cocktail ice luge set the tone right as guests walked in thanks to Creative Ice, huge festive balloons thanks to Balloon Masters, delectable cupcakes courtesy of Trophy Cupcakes, Pacific Northwest Catering provided food and drink for the evening with Grand Event Rentals providing amenities for the evening – all paid for with BizX!
