Vicki Adams, M.A. is a counselor and therapist specializing in career transition for individuals and human resources consultation for corporations.
Prior to joining BizXchange, Adams had been a member of another trade exchange and had a bad experience. She was reluctant at first, but after being referred by a current member and talking with a BizX representative, she decided that there was a “dramatic difference” between BizXchange and other trade exchanges.
One of the defining characteristics of BizXchange that prompted Adams to join was the size and quality of membership. “The members are more sophisticated,” she said. “There are more corporate organizations and larger businesses to work with.”
Another reason Adams has been so pleased with BizXchange is the relationship she has built with her BizX Account Executive. “My Account Executive has been fabulous,” Adams exclaims. She attributes much of her success within BizXchange to the fact that her Account Executive has “helped drive business my way.”
The spending opportunities that Adams has found through BizX have been very beneficial to her quality of life. Aside from paying for day-to-day expenses, like dining at a variety of restaurants, Adams has made a number of improvements to her home that has increased its value, including the installation of hardwood floors, tile, stamped concrete and a new furnace.
Adams strongly believes in the concept of barter and appreciates that working through BizX guarantees trading is beneficial to all parties involved. She enjoys receiving new incremental sales from BizX members and said “everyone that has done business with me on BizX would not have if it was in cash.”
