Napolitano Day Spa Salon owners Jerry and Mary Napolitano were referred to BizXchange by a long term customer who also happened to be a BizXchange member. They liked the idea of being part of the BizXchange network because it would bring them an influx of high-profile customers, such as business owners and other active community leaders. “These are good clients because they are more likely to talk up your business and send you referrals,” said Jerry.
As proof of their success in the industry, the Napolitano’s have recently opened their second full-service location in the Eastlake neighborhood, an expansion in which BizX was able to play a considerable role. Through BizX they were able to purchase the plumbing and the bamboo flooring needed for the costly renovation without spending cash. They were also able to use BizX to offset meal costs at nearby Mad Pizza and Eastlake Bar & Grill after long days preparing for the grand opening of their new location.
Now, after getting their Eastlake location up and running, they are more concerned than ever about regulating their cash flow. “Without using cash, I can still get printing and advertising,” said Jerry in explaining that he still gets the revenue he needs to cover those costs.
The Napolitano’s are fans of BizXchange because it has played such a big role in the growth and expansion of their business. With BizX members wanting to purchase from other members “it immediately gets people in the door,” said Jerry, “which draws in more business because everyone wants to go to a place that has a line out the door.”
