"Why spend cash in today's economy?"
Tyrone Tan first learned about BizXchange during a networking event and decided to
join because it made sense to do business with other companies that understand the
benefits of barter. "We wanted to save cash and trade for services instead," says Tan
about why he became a member.
Since joining, Tan has been able to continue expanding by saving cash and reinvesting
it in his business. This has helped him produce greater profits. "I use BizX as much
as I can for business expenses," he explains. "It allows me to apply my cash towards
growth opportunities."
Aside from business, BizX has also helped Tan cover leisurely expenses. One of the
more notable purchases was a fishing excursion to a private lake in Alaska. "If it
weren't for BizX I would never even considered Alaska as a vacation destination for
my family," Tan exclaims.
To cover his expenses, Tan's Account Manager works to get him incremental sales
within the exchange. Since Accel has started accepting BizX as a form of payment,
other members have started coming to him before going out and spending cash. This
gives him an advantage over his competitors. "Our clients don't want to spend cash,
but still want to find the best talent," says Tan.
"Why spend cash in today's economy?" Tan asks rhetorically. As one of the many BizX
members that are planning for long term success, he has found a variety of ways
to continue making the purchases he needs to run his business, without depleting
valuable cash resources. "If you haven't joined yet, you're missing out big time,"
he notes.
