BizXchange always goes the extra mile.

Prior to joining BizXchange, Bill O’Laughlin, owner of The Cheshire Cat Catering, had experience with direct business-to-business trading. He had a general idea of how beneficial barter can be for a business. However, as O’Laughlin points out, after speaking with a BizXchange representative, the additional benefits of working within a “more organized trade network” became much clearer.

Since joining BizXchange, O’Laughlin has found that his customer base has steadily increased in both BizX and cash clients. “Our catering company is very dependent on word-of-mouth referrals to increase business,” said O’Laughlin. “By joining BizXchange we have been able to increase that word-of-mouth factor.”

O’Laughlin has been pleased with the level of service BizXchange has provided because according to him, “BizXchange always goes the extra mile.” He has had great experiences making major purchases on items such as automobiles, art and watches. He has also been able to use BizX to offset business expenses such as vehicle repair and maintenance, wholesale food and wine.

As the BizXchange network grows, O’Laughlin is always finding new ways to use BizX to cover both business and personal expenses. Before joining BizXchange, The Cheshire Cat Catering had a direct trade relationship with San Francisco Magazine for advertisement space. However, with the inherent challenges of a direct-trade relationship, the amount of trading possible between the two companies was limited. Now that they are both members of BizXchange, O’Laughlin has the ability to provide them with much more catering than he was once able to.

The Cheshire Cat Catering and Bill O’Laughlin are fans of BizXchange because the Account Executives always have his business’s best interests in mind. “The staff is constantly intervening to make sure that all deals made within the network are legitimate and that the terms are agreeable to all parties involved,” said O’Laughlin. His advice to other business owners is to let BizXchange see what they can do for your business, because it has worked out great for him.
