Kathy Banak of Authentic Home initially learned about BizX from another member and was prompted to join upon learning how barter can help businesses grow. “It’s a great way to get services that you need.” said Banak.
Conserving cash and still getting the things you need as a business owner is a benefit of being a member of BizXchange, but it is also important for the businesses and vendors that you work with to maintain a certain level of quality. “Working with a professional organization like The Frause Group was a great experience,” Banak said about doing business with a fellow BizX member.
By using BizX to pay for public relations services from The Frause Group, Banak “was able to build [her] brand,” something she said she wouldn’t have been able to do otherwise. “We appeared on TV and were written about and promoted in many local magazines,” notes Banak. As a result, she not only gets more BizX business, but she also has more cash customers that know about her products and services.
Authentic Home has been able to grow their business by paying for products and services with new customers brought to them by BizX. “We have people stop by our stores and say that they saw us on the BizX member website,” said Banak, who is able to continue investing in her business while competitors are facing cash flow challenges.
