Position Summary:
You will be a frontline ambassador of the BizX model and brand, recruiting desired, high-quality businesses with annual sales volumes of $5 million to $20 million. You’ll be building your base by going after accounts with local and regional brand name recognition and that are leaders in their industries.
Responsibilities include:
- Research, assess and close prospective businesses to identify those businesses that are highly beneficial for membership into the network.
- Act as a trusted business consultant who provides alternative financial solutions.
- Manage your base of accounts by putting members who should be doing business together in touch and making them aware of both sales opportunities and products and services available within BizXchange.
- Generate business by cold calling over the phone and in person, personal prospecting using Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn, and quick follow up with marketing generated leads.
- Set appointments and meet with C-level company decision makers to identify the value the BizX model offers to them, and subsequently enroll them as new members to add to your base.
- Attend business networking events and conferences.
- Collaborate effectively with all BizX teammates to maintain current knowledge of the offerings within the BizX network, as well as the needs of our members.
- Facilitate smooth and thorough onboarding of each new member into the network.
- Meet or exceed aggressive targeted call volumes, meeting and monthly sales quotas.
Mandatory Qualifications:
- A Minimum of 5 years experience working in outside sales with a proven track record of success closing large business with C-level decision makers. Business-to-business sales required.
- Experience using sales force automation software, Microsoft Office programs and email, phone, and social media etiquette.
- Positive attitude toward taking direction and working collaboratively in a team environment
